June 17, we attended a convention in Ft. Lauderdale given by the Feline Conservation Federation of which both Jim and I are Certified members, and Registered advanced Feline Handlers. 


I attended an all day animal husbandry course complete with final exam and certificate. 


One day we toured Zoological Wildlife Foundation where we took tons of pictures and I got to play with a Golden tiger cub and Jim got to play with a White Tiger cub. See the pictures.


 In the afternoon we Checked out the AZA accredited Miami Metro Zoo. After the three o clock show the cheetahs were brought out for us and we had a Question & Answer session with the trainers. In all, an enjoyable, enlightening, exhausting day. 


It was a wonderful 4 days and we were able to do a lot of networking with other professionals, and listen to lectures given by experts.
